MaangchiKeymaster👍 Thanks,sanne!
MaangchiKeymasterYeomjang dasima is salted kelp. It is not used for making stock. You can soak it in cold water to remove some saltiness and stir fry with seasonings. To make good stock, you need dried kelp.https://www.maangchi.com/ingredient/kelp
MaangchiKeymasterThe simple solution is to add more water and cook the meat over medium or medium low, until it turns very tender.
MaangchiKeymasterHappy New Year!

2. Bring about 2 cups water to a boil. Add the rice cake, noodles, the sauce, and stir for about 5 to 6 minutes over medium heat.MaangchiKeymaster“Every bone in my body was yelling at me while keeping a stock at a hard boil, ” That’s right! : )
You should cook the stock for 30 minutes over medium high heat and 1 hour over medium heat. Check out the recipe again. You are supposed to get 12 to 13 cups stock.MaangchiKeymasterWow, your kimchi and dolsot-bibimbap look amazing! Congratulations!
MaangchiKeymasterHi Doris,
My 1 cup is 240 Ml. I bought my measuring cups from IKEA when I started posting my videos and the recipes.
1 cup is 240 ML, 1 tablespoon is 15 ML, 1 teaspoon is 5 ML, based on American measuring system.
Happy cooking!MaangchiKeymasterI feel like having tteokbokki now because of your comment! : )
MaangchiKeymasterYes, you bought right one! You can make kimchi and add it to side dishes to any of my recipes.
MaangchiKeymasterI think you are talking about my kimchi video that I posted in 2007!
I used oysters in the kimchi paste and made cabbage kimchi and radish kimchi together. https://www.maangchi.com/recipe/napa-cabbage-kimchi
You can use fresh oysters or flash frozen oysters. If you use frozen oysters, thaw them out and use.MaangchiKeymasterNayko,
It didn’t spoil. If you add more salt, the cabbage will stay firm and crispy. - AuthorPosts
