Hi Pinkfuzz80,
Asiakauf is really a major let down when you try to order there.
coreano.it is mentioned as an online shop, but it seems the site is not operational.
Maybe try one mentioned here:

ReinierMemberI prefer glass jars, they have no pores unlike tupperware.
No stains and no smells, in my jars i stored kimchi several times for longer periodes of time and it has no smell after cleaning.
I clean them by rinsing them with water and just put them in the dishwasher. that’s it!
ReinierMemberThank you very much Minke.
I’m sure your hoddeok will be delicous!
I added you to my hyve!
ReinierMemberWelcome Wesley!
ReinierMemberIf you want to re-use the container you should use a glass one, that doesn’t absorb the smell at all.
ReinierMemberyou can label that tupperware now: “KIMCHI ONLY”
ReinierMemberYeah sirdanilot, please make a picture.
ReinierMemberHow about Napa cabbage soup?
https://www.maangchi.com/recipe/baechu-doenjang-guk
Or,
Tofu stew?
https://www.maangchi.com/recipe/tofu-stew-doenjang-chigae
Or mix it up with pepper paste, sesame oil and chopped green unions to make a delicious dipping sauce?
ReinierMemberAlso, dried shii-take mushrooms.
Very conventient and you can keep them almost forever.
ReinierMemberThat looks very creative, especially the kimchi and cheese combination. I will give this a try.
ReinierMemberI always cook and soak it like maangchi says and it always turns out good. plump and soft.
ReinierMemberYes i was surprised, you don’t look it at all!
ReinierMemberI am really surprised that Korean cuisine did not achieve some status here in the old world. In Holland it’s all about chinese (read: indonesian, cause of colonial past) cuisine and people mostly stick with it.
Only since a few years japanese food is up, but korean (and thai) is still limping behind in a distance. A korean restaurant is rare and a good one even rarer.
Let’s spread the word!
ReinierMemberNice article, Maangchi’s popularity is well deserved, but to reveal the age of a lady…….
