"I'm also curious about this. I live in a small apartment and I can't make 10 lbs of kimchi at once. If I could, I'd have a kimchi fridge with hundreds of lbs of kimchi but I'm a poor student and can't make so much at once. If I am starting with 2 lbs of cabbage, can I divide everything by 1/5th?"
