      Hi Maangchi,
      I love tradational kimchi but I am alergic to shellfish. Can I substitute salted/fermented anchovies for the salted shrimp? If so, do I use the same amount or more/less.

      You can skip the shrimp and just use a good fish sauce instead.

      I know Maanchi recommends 3 crabs but that is a low end fish sauce and contains hydrolyzed wheat protein
