Hi, I want to buy red pepper powder for some recipes. The only one I can find in the asian supermarkets in my city is this one. It’s called ‘Chung Jung One Bidan Red Pepper Powder Fine’. Do you guys know if this one is good for Korean recipes?
You want coarse flakes for kimchi. Fine is sometimes hotter, its for making gochujang or adding to soups/stews.
It is NOT Korean origin. The peppers are grown and dried in China.
