Hola from Mcallen Texas, way south

Just wanted to say hello to all those Korean loving food people. I never realized it would be this large of a group. I first started eating Korean food while stationed in Dongduchon South Korea. AT first i wasnt to enthused about it but, after tasting this smelly Kimche my flavor buds on my tongue just opened up and is now my favorite foods.
Im a civilian now retired and i have introduced it to my wife and daughter and they also love it. Using Maangchi’s website for recipies has helped me cook for my family and enjoy this cultural foods. Thanks Maangchi for this site and the recipies.
