I want to give my friend my homemade kimchi. Will it be okay to not submerge the cabbage with kimchi water? Will it affect the kimchi in the long run if I only put half part of the water to the kimchi? Hope you can help me decide. Thank you 😊
As long as the kimchi is always submerged, there will be no problem. Else, the upper portion will rot.
