Perilla oil is one korean product that I’m excited to get to know the flavour of. I haven’t yet bought a bottle to try. I’m curious though if anyone out there knows what I can use it for other than Maangchi’s gosari side dish. Is it a versatile product that can be put in anything korean or could it be incorporated in other types of cuisine as well?
Yes perila oil is a versatile product and you could be used it not only korian dishes but also added in a wide array of cuisines such as sautéing, frying and healthy salads.
Perilla oil is mostly used as cooking oil. It is also used in paint and ink manufacturing.

you can use it in everything you want !
To begin with, you can use perilla oil instead of sesame oil if you want to try it with a Korean recipe.
