    Hi there,

I really can’t remember where I originally found this recipe, it is basic so modify to preference. (The first one I tried was in 인사동 and had corn and peas mixed into the dough, which I still love in the cold weather.)

    So…

Add 1 tsp yeast, 1/2tsp sugar to 1/2 cup of warm water, and let it sit for about 10 mins until the mix starts to foam.

Add to this 1 cup of milk, 1/2 tsp salt and sift about 3 cups of flour into the mix to get a firm dough and knead until well combined. Place into a lightly oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap and allow to rise for a couple hours in a warm place.

For the filling, mix 1 cup of brown sugar, 3 tbsp crushed peanuts and 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon.

Pinch off a golfball-ish sized lump of dough and flatten out in the palm of your hand. Push down a 1/2 tbsp of mix into the middle of the dough and then pinch the dough closed over the top of it.

Heat oil in a frypan and when the oil is hot add the doughball and flatten out into a pancake. Fry in the oil until browned, cooking evenly on both sides.

Place into a folded 12×7-ish piece of cardboard and be careful when you get to the filling^^.

    Enjoy!
