My yard is FULL Of these wild onions/garlic or what ever they are. I love them And Now I have a great use for them. I’ll make them soon, using your recipe =)
She says, " ..When I came home this morning from work, I opened up my facebook and there was your blog about the wild onion pancake.So,I went to my front yard right away using LED lantern with my daughter Ella this was at 5:20 a.m.EST..gathered up some of the wild onion and made the pancake right away.
I had to dig up few of the roots at first to make sure I was picking the right stuff..:-)) Well,that was not very difficult to find since it actually smells like chives.
Anyhow,it was delicious! My husband and i suffer from the wild onions every spring and throughout the summer when we mowed the lawn. Now,its great because we find a much better solution.. eat the wild onion from now on every spring thanks to you…. I was glad that we don’t use fertilizers on our lawn. :-))Have a great day!
