      Dear Maangchi,

      I really love your cooking and videos!

      The other day I saw my local Korean grocer is selling blackbean paste which is used for 짜장면. But it was sold in a big jar of 500g!

      Is there other recipes I can use to cook with this blackbean paste other than Jjajangmyeon?

      Please let me know~

      You can make something similar to lo mein and add a little soy sauce, oyster sauce and black bean paste. This is very similar to “Fried Sauce Noodles” in China.

      Stir fry your meat, veggies and noodles. Move them to the edges of the pan. Add your sauces to the center of the pan and fry the sauce for a minute or two. Then mix it all up and serve. You want just enough sauce to lightly coat everything.

      Small amounts of black bean paste can be added to other stir fries too such as fried firm tofu. I like mine slightly sweet when using black bean paste.
