Hi everyone. I stumbled upon Maangchi’s cooking video a month ago. I have been trying her recipes and have been having great success with them. My husband is an American and we live in the Philippines. We both have an adventurous palate and would try anything that is healthy and nutritious.
I was a language teacher before I was married. I had Korean students and that is how I was introduced to Korean dishes. Whenever my husband and I travel, we look for Korean stores and restaurant. In my pantry, I have all kinds of ingredients to make Korean dishes. I am very grateful that Maangchi is generous enough to share her talents in cooking.
We have an organic farm and we are growing Garlic Chives and Chinese Cabbage and radish among other crops. Now, I have organic radish and cabbage kimchi fermenting in my fridge.
