We are please to invite you to a very special upcoming program titled "Making The Kimchi Chronicles." A follow-up to the highly acclaimed “Spain...on the road Again” series hosted by Mario Batali and Gwyneth Paltrow, “The Kimchi Chronicles” is a beautifully produced food and travel show that discovers Korean food and culture over a 13 episode journey. The show’s hosts, Korean-born actress/model Marja Vongerichten and three-star Michelin chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, give viewers “a taste of” Korea as they travel the country and experience its authentic flavors and cultural traditions. Each episode is a combination of eating extravaganzas and a picturesque travelogue with food serving as a vehicle to meet and celebrate the people, places and traditions of Korea.
On May 3rd at 6:30PM, you’ll get an insider’s look at this new series with The Kimchi Chronicles host Marja Vongerichten, producer Eric Rhee, and KAFFNY co-founder and director David Kim, moderator. The evening will include a special extended trailer and green tea from Jeju Islands, one of the many destinations visited in The Kimchi Chronicles. Tea and special gift bags complements of AmorePacific.
