Hi Maangchi,
I have been to many Korean Restaurants in my country and there is one dish that is so good no matter which stall I go. And that is “Spicy Beef Short Ribs Stew”. My family love it so much that they keep on bug me to find the recipe online. But I couldn’t find the exact one that makes me feel “WOW”. So I was really hoping that you could create this recipe!! Really hope to hear from you!!
Thank you so much!!
Cheers,

Hi Lenach,
this one?
At least, you’ve got the name now; there are many other recipes out there.
Bye, Sanne.

Hi Sanne,
Thank you for the link but sadly it is not this recipe. :(
It is a spicy and there is thick broth.Cheers,

Hi Lenach,
I think it is the right basic recipe; there’s a spicy version, too – it’s called “매운 갈비찜” – “spicy short ribs”.
E. g.
http://www.wnetwork.com/recipe/spicy-korean-bbq-beef-short-ribsOr do you mean https://www.maangchi.com/recipe/yukgaejang – you may use ribs instead of brisket any time!
Give me more specs and I’ll search my collection of Korean cooking-books for you, even the ones in Hangul; found a recipe for 매운 갈비찜 already, but that’s a thick stew.
Bye, Sanne.

Hi Sanne,
The name of the stew in korean is “Kimchi Galbi Tang” or “So Galbi Jjim”. Both of them are really nice but I’m not sure which recipe is similar to them.
Thank you so much for your help!!

Have you found any related recipes to the name of “Kimchi Galbi Tang” or “Galbi Jjim” ? I still couldn’t find any. :(

Hi Lenach,
I haven’t forgotten you, but misinterpreted your former post. I’m really busy right now (have been the last few weeks, too) preparing my birthday-party tomorrow. I’ll look into it asap (hopefully this Sunday), ok?
Happy Holidays!
Bye, Sanne.
