i was lacking two ingredients in this recipe so i had to work with what i had :( green onion & corn /rice syrup. maangchi said i can use honey & i did but i had to leave out the green onion :( but it still tasted veryyyyyyyy goood! my only complaint was, the hot pepper paste i bought was very liquidy not pastey like the ones i normally buy. i’m not too sure why or if it’s cause of the brand, but the out come was still AWESOMEEEEEE. this is before i put sesame seeds on it :) HEHE! try it! it’s so goood!
looks amazing!!! i can’t wait to make it! i’m drooling already! great job!
thank you! :’D can’t wait for you to try it! it’s so yummy!
wow, the main ingredient doraji (bell flower roots) must be good quality. Each strip looks plump!
I’m going to make this today because this photo makes me feel like dorajimuchim now besides I have some leftover dried bell flower roots. : )
You said the gochujang you bought is not thick? I like to see it so that I can tell you if you got the right ingredient.
Happy cooking!
i bought the small package of the doraji you showed in your video :D yeah the gochujang oddly is okay now but when i first opened it, it wasn’t deep red it was bright SUPER bright red like regular hot sauce. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=3998078434379 it looks like this now :) looks normal but when i first used it, it was weird. i guess i had to let it set? haha https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=3998093514756 this was the brand i bought :) thank you!<3
