Leaving for my Gapshida journey

After months of planning, my Gapshida journey has started! The first stop is Canterbury, England, to meet with Tanya. Over the next few weeks I’ll be travelling to 11 cities in 9 countries. I’ll actually go around the earth 1 time for Gapshida, and this is the beginning. This is a really awesome thing that happens to me. What a lucky person I am, that I can do what I like!

Goodbye rainy New York!

This trip is a lot different from my usual way of travelling. There won’t be a lot of time for sightseeing: I’ll be filming, cooking, and travelling to my next destination, with barely any time to take a rest.

I’ve exchanged hundreds of emails with the people I’ll be meeting along the way, and there are many awesome dishes to be cooked and shared, I can’t wait to see them and cook with them. You’re going to love them, too.

All the people who are organizing this with me are really passionate about food. It’s my goal to capture their passion on video, and also to teach them how to make their own videos. Who knows, maybe they will start their own YouTube cooking shows.

I’ve also prepared some recipe videos to upload while I travel. So don’t worry, Korean cooking videos will be coming on time, but I might be really slow to answer any comments or emails.
