Hi, everybody,

I’m packing my backpack to leave for my 2 week backpack travel to Guatemala tomorrow! Ooh whoo! : ) 2 weeks travel is not that long, but my heart is beating now because of too much excitement!

I will try out authentic Guatemalan food as much as I can during my trip, and of course I want to meet local people, see beautiful scenery, and eat delicious food!

I won’t take my laptop, so I will check my email at an internet PC room if I can.

Even though I don’t answer you promptly, and there will be no new recipes for a while, please understand.

    Beautiful cake and beautiful wrapping. Where did you get your tea cup? I am getting tired of using the stainless steel strainer.

    I hope you have a GREAT trip and I’ve lived there before. I know you didn’t ask, but my 2 cents … be careful of the water you drink and the veggies you eat that are washed in the water. Some tummies are more resilient than others, but it was an amazing “weight loss plan” for me, if you know what I mean, but it wasn’t a fun way to get thin at the time :)

    I hope you take photos to share with us!! :)
