Recently CJ Foods contacted me and offered to send me some Korean ingredients as a way of saying “thank you” for spreading Korean culture and cuisine. It was very kind of them to offer, but after talking to them some more, we decided it would be more fun to set up this giveaway for my readers. This is CJ’s way of encouraging you to cook Korean food, because they know that not everyone can find Korean ingredients easily.
So, leave a comment on this post, and you’ll be entered to win a Korean cooking startup kit from CJ.
Please leave only one comment below, and then there will be 20 winners chosen at random by random.org. This contest is open to anyone in the world. Wherever you live, if you win then CJ will deliver this startup kit to your house.

The other cool thing about this startup kit is that a lot of the products in it are from CJ’s new Bibigo brand, which you’ll soon be able to buy outside of Korean grocery stores in the USA. I asked CJ about this, and they said Bibigo is just a new brand name for their Haechandle brand, which I have been using for decades and you may have seen in my ingredients section.

I miss my home made Korean food back home and would love to start cooking some Korean dishes here. It’s hard to find these types of ingredients where I live!
I’d love to cook some of these recipes, but I don’t have time and I don’t live near the Korean neighbourhood, so it’ll be great to have this to start off!

I love this website! Thank you for sharing all your wonderful knowledge. I have always been quite interested in Korean culture and my 4 year old son has become quite taken with it himself. Especially the music and style of clothing for men :) He loves Korean food so I am sure he would be excited about this. Even if I don’t win I will still try this new brand :)

I love your recipes! I adore korean cuisine and culture! I would love to cook & taste every meal I see while watching your videos, also the korean movies and dramas. I’m trying to fulfil all of the recipes, although it is very hard to find the ingredients themselves here is Bulgaria. hi maangchi, thank you for your recipes, i just made kimchi 2 weeks ago and it was brilliant. it is hard to find the korean ingredients but I managed to get it here in UK although I have to travel but its all worth it. i always cook for my friends and now they are into korean food..I am very excited for this contest..i hope we all win ha ha..thank you and God bless you!
