I tried making a VEGAN version of maangchi’s doeji bulgogi using the same method she used for her vegetarian/vegan bulgogi by using shiitake mushrooms instead of meat!! It was sooo good and it was also the first time I used this recipe, and the first time I ever made doeji bulgogi myself! I’m so proud and happy and gracious to maangchi for this delicious meal! Thanks maangchi! You’re awesome!
Which to get? Both are best sellers and either one is a good choice if you want to learn Korean home cooking. my first book has all the recipes for all the essential Korean pastes and sauces, but my second book Maangchi's Big Book of Korean Cooking has more recipes.
