It says ma-ro-ni-i (マロニー ) or Maloney, co.

http://www.malony.co.jp/

Its either thin noodles made of corn starch OR starch from potatoes

If guessing it's similar to rice noodles like vermicelli.

These are Japanese noodles, not Korean, so I'm not sure what to tell you. Try a Japanese food site for better feedback.

My uncle sent me some form of dried noodles 2+ years ago and I have no idea what it is or what it is used for. The ingredients listed are potato starch, corn starch, and water. Hopefully with the help of Maangchi's website I can make something delicious. I tried to upload, but the file sizes are too big, so I just linked from my photobucket.

I've stumbled upon the website as I'm interested in delving into the world of Korean cuisine. This website site seems really active and I'm glad to join this great community.

I'm Vietnamese, but looking to explore into other Asian foods and I just love checking out new ethnic markets and trying different ingredients. I have limited experience with Korean food, but I love Korean BBQ. I'm gonna try out making the Korean staple of Kim Chi and we'll see where it heads...
