I just recieved one as a housewarming gift. I was wondering if it could also be used as a pressure cooker. Also, what foods and stews can I make in it. My korean isn't too good so it makes it difficult to go on the korean websites to get recipes and food ideas.

Ok I'm dumb. The information was in the english section of the instructions all along. >>

Could you translate the recipe in the middle of page 4? The one that looks like sticky rice balls with other things in them. That looks yummy!

Thank you.

Haha, sorry for the outrageous request! Well first of all, there was no chart in the manual that showed how much water to put in with different rices. I know typically it is about 1.5 cups water to 1 cup rice. If the cooking guide says things like "add this much water to one cup of brown rice" that's what I want to know. Also, how much water to add for porridge and things like that.

If you pick out a certain recipe you would like to know from there, I'd be happy to translate it for you. But translating everything is a bit too much work for me. :/

I am in the same situation so I am necromancing an old thread. The cooking guide can be found at this link: http://kimchius.com/cuckoo-cooking-guide.html

If anyone knows enough Korean to do a translation it would be extremely helpful.

(I also attached the file in case it disappears from the web)

What a great site this is, so many varied recipes to try out...it'll keep us busy for quite a while!

Anyway, a little bit about us. We are a couple from the UK who started our own business 3 years ago selling Zojirushi products to the UK, Europe and Australia because we love rice and love our own Zojirushi rice cooker! Our website is http://www.yumasia.co.uk

We've recently expanded to publishing some recipes for ideas of what to put with rice as a meal - we publish these on our blog at http://www.yumasia.blogspot.com but it's just in it's infancy at the moment with only a few recipes. Hopefully we can add a lot more to it in the near future!

Happy cooking to everyone!!

Hi everyone, I'm really looking forward to sharing food ideas with you all.

I'm a big lover of Asian food, especially Japanese and Korean food. I love experimenting and have a whole stack of Maangchi's recipes that I'm really keen to try. I've just started food blogging and really enjoying, if any of you are interested my blog is at http://cook-japan.blogspot.com/.

I also have an online store at http://www.cookjapan.co.uk specialising in rice cookers and other cookware.

Hope you are all having a good day and better weather than we are in the UK at the moment.

Thanks

I just got this cooker for my birthday and are so excited about the "cooking manual", which is acutally a recipe book, but it's in korean. :( Do you have any recipes for a electric pressure rice cooker or can suggest where I can find an english version of the cooking manual?
