I want to make gamgatang for my friend who absolutely LOVES this soup since he had it 2 years ago in Korea. But I can’t seem to find the pork neck. I was able to to find the shoulder/spine bone to make the soup…but there’s little to no meat on it. Is there another part of the pork I could use? My mom suggested using short ribs? Please HELP, I need to make it in a few days!!!
Actually pork spine bone is used for gamjatang. Even though it looks like it doesn’t have much meat, it has more than it looks. Why don’t you use spine bone and short ribs together so that you could enjoy meat and bone soup.
