RAINBOW RICE CAKE A PART FAILURE

You must not like the taste of rice cake.

I see many of my American and Canadian friends don’t like rice cake. Someone said, “oh, I am not a big fan of rice cake! The taste is kinda bland and the more I chew it, the more the amount of rice cake in my mouth expands !” I thought it was funny when I heard it. : )

You can invent your own way of rice cake recipe., but I still like this taste! Well made rainbow rice cake is very fluffy! Delicious! You can’t expect something like Western style cake taste from rice cake.

Yeah, the taste and sweetness of rainbow rice cake is very minimal. You can barely taste the sweetness, and as maangchi said, it tastes sweeter the more you chew it. Don’t expect it to be sweet or flavorful up to western levels. If you would like to make it sweeter, go ahead but Korean style rainbow rice cake isnt too sweet^_^.
