Hello everybody!

Recently CJ Foods contacted me and offered to send me some Korean ingredients as a way of saying “thank you” for spreading Korean culture and cuisine. It was very kind of them to offer, but after talking to them some more, we decided it would be more fun to set up this giveaway for my readers. This is CJ’s way of encouraging you to cook Korean food, because they know that not everyone can find Korean ingredients easily.

So, leave a comment on this post, and you’ll be entered to win a Korean cooking startup kit from CJ.

The contest will close at midnight (New York time), December 15th and I’ll contact the winners through email. The other cool thing about this startup kit is that a lot of the products in it are from CJ’s new Bibigo brand, which you’ll soon be able to buy outside of Korean grocery stores in the USA. I asked CJ about this, and they said Bibigo is just a new brand name for their Haechandle brand, which I have been using for decades and you may have seen in my ingredients section.

    We had our first snow today. Tasty Korean soups and stews are great for this weather. I hope that I can win this set so that I amy cook warm and hearty meals for the winter. Good luck to all the participants!

    I love Korean food very very much…….. I love to eat Korean food, but don’t know how to cook, so I only cook Sin Ramen instant noodles at home….. Luckily, one Korean friend give me this website, i try to follow the recipe and learn to cook! It’s really good and amazing….. Thanks “maangchi” let me have a chance learn how to cook Korea food…… I share this website on my Facebook too, I wish everyone start to love Korea food…… Sincerely, while gathering with friends, I always suggest it held in Korean restaurant, because I love Korean food so much…… It’s yummy yummy……I really need this prizes to cook more Korea food to serve my family and friends….

    Maangchi makes korean cooking look easy and doable. Now i can enjoy korean food at home, anytime i want and can’t stop doing so.

    Its quite hard to find these ingredients, much more harder if you have random cravings but have no idea where to buy the ingredients!
    winning this will help me so much in improving my cooking skills
