Recently CJ Foods contacted me and offered to send me some Korean ingredients as a way of saying “thank you” for spreading Korean culture and cuisine. It was very kind of them to offer, but after talking to them some more, we decided it would be more fun to set up this giveaway for my readers. This is CJ’s way of encouraging you to cook Korean food, because they know that not everyone can find Korean ingredients easily.
So, leave a comment on this post, and you’ll be entered to win a Korean cooking startup kit from CJ.
Please leave only one comment below, and then there will be 20 winners chosen at random by random.org. This contest is open to anyone in the world. Wherever you live, if you win then CJ will deliver this startup kit to your house.

The other cool thing about this startup kit is that a lot of the products in it are from CJ’s new Bibigo brand, which you’ll soon be able to buy outside of Korean grocery stores in the USA. I asked CJ about this, and they said Bibigo is just a new brand name for their Haechandle brand, which I have been using for decades and you may have seen in my ingredients section.

I love cooking as my daily activity. Recently I have been watching Maangchi Korean cooking shows and I hope I can start my first Korean dish with these brilliant ingredients :)

It would be amazing to receive a starter kit since I haven’t try to cook any challenging dish yet because the lack of ingredients, but I have try some of the easy dishes and it taste amazing. I would love to cook more Korean foods because it taste amazing and I want my friend and family to know more about Korean cuisine. (Kimchi and Kimbap is two of my favorite Kfood>.<)

I love Korean food… I have been teaching Koreans for a long time and their food has been a very big part of me… I always make sure I have kimchi and jajangmeon on my fridge or else I can’t eat… Thanks to you, I can cook them in a very easy way… my husband is always surprised on what I have been cooking most of the time, and he said what do you call this? he says it’s delicious! thank you maangchi for this giveaway….

I found your youtube channel while searching for kimchi recipes. Your emergency kimchi looks simple and I already have the cabbage, carrots, fish sauce and sugar. I am about to go shopping for the red pepper flakes, garlic and green onion tomorrow. Oh, and I plan on adding julienne red bell pepper to the mix.

I’m a college student that loves korean culture ever since one of my friends introduced it to me in high school. When we can, a few of my friends get together and make things like patbingsu and mochi but we’ve been really wanting to try making other korean foods but we don’t have the ingredients to do so. We’re looked at all the stores around here but no much luck.This startup kit would be really helpful if I won.

Hello maangchi, i am die hard fan of your show.and I am really proud that you have taken the step of promoting korean cuisine through out the world.I have always seen and followed your youtube channel and the recipies sincerely.The fact that i like watching your shows is that you narrate the whole recipe In a friendly manner just like my mum or my elder sister would teach me and i like spicy food as you do :)
I live in london but the area i live in there is no korean grocery stores where i can get hold of some of your ingredients which i really wish to corporate in my dishes.All i have an option is that if i donot get any of the ingredients i end up eating in a korean restaurent. but i am a person who really enjoy cooking and always prefer to cook my own home food.
