Recently CJ Foods contacted me and offered to send me some Korean ingredients as a way of saying “thank you” for spreading Korean culture and cuisine. It was very kind of them to offer, but after talking to them some more, we decided it would be more fun to set up this giveaway for my readers. This is CJ’s way of encouraging you to cook Korean food, because they know that not everyone can find Korean ingredients easily.
So, leave a comment on this post, and you’ll be entered to win a Korean cooking startup kit from CJ.
Please leave only one comment below, and then there will be 20 winners chosen at random by random.org. This contest is open to anyone in the world. Wherever you live, if you win then CJ will deliver this startup kit to your house.
The contest will close at midnight (New York time), December 15th and I’ll contact the winners through email. The other cool thing about this startup kit is that a lot of the products in it are from CJ’s new Bibigo brand, which you’ll soon be able to buy outside of Korean grocery stores in the USA. I asked CJ about this, and they said Bibigo is just a new brand name for their Haechandle brand, which I have been using for decades and you may have seen in my ingredients section.

I would love to win this startupkit! Ever since I moved out to go to school, my luck ran out because there was no trace of a korean supermarket or anything.
I now live states away from home and a nearby korean store. I miss eating korean food and making korean food.
Thank you for the chance to win these beautiful ingredients. Sometimes the problem here is not just access to Korean ingredients but their price. I cant always afford to buy expensive imported things just to try them in one recipe. If I win and try these special items I will then be more likely to purchase them in the future if I enjoy the taste! Thanks again.

I love korean food! I have been following your videos and cooking up korean dishes like pajeon, deangjjang jjigae and lots more. I am on a vegetarian diet now, and korean recipes really help to make it more bearable! I would really put the ingredients into good use!

Recently I’ve been told that they sold hot pepper paste in costco and when I went there, I asked a worker and he said they were sold out. I was really looking forward to making some dukbokki.
