Recently CJ Foods contacted me and offered to send me some Korean ingredients as a way of saying “thank you” for spreading Korean culture and cuisine. It was very kind of them to offer, but after talking to them some more, we decided it would be more fun to set up this giveaway for my readers. This is CJ’s way of encouraging you to cook Korean food, because they know that not everyone can find Korean ingredients easily.
So, leave a comment on this post, and you’ll be entered to win a Korean cooking startup kit from CJ.
Please leave only one comment below, and then there will be 20 winners chosen at random by random.org. This contest is open to anyone in the world. Wherever you live, if you win then CJ will deliver this startup kit to your house.
The contest will close at midnight (New York time), December 15th and I’ll contact the winners through email. The other cool thing about this startup kit is that a lot of the products in it are from CJ’s new Bibigo brand, which you’ll soon be able to buy outside of Korean grocery stores in the USA. I asked CJ about this, and they said Bibigo is just a new brand name for their Haechandle brand, which I have been using for decades and you may have seen in my ingredients section.

I would totally love to when a korean start up kit i got into wanting to learn how to cook korean thanks to maangchi after watch her videos i really want to try it out i’ve already made one of her deserts hoddeok and now i want to try making her steamed pork buns and kimchi and with this kit all will be able to kimchi and more.

The first time I accidentally pressed on to one of your videos (mandu) i was so inspired i went out to buy the ingredients and made it the very night! Your videos are so simple and delicious!

Maangchi, Thank you for sharing your culture through cooking with us non-Koreans. You are like the Bruce Lee of Korean culture/cooking. He was willing to share Chinese Kung Fu with non-Chinese and it opened the world’s eyes to Chinese martial arts.
