Recently CJ Foods contacted me and offered to send me some Korean ingredients as a way of saying “thank you” for spreading Korean culture and cuisine. It was very kind of them to offer, but after talking to them some more, we decided it would be more fun to set up this giveaway for my readers. This is CJ’s way of encouraging you to cook Korean food, because they know that not everyone can find Korean ingredients easily.
So, leave a comment on this post, and you’ll be entered to win a Korean cooking startup kit from CJ.
Please leave only one comment below, and then there will be 20 winners chosen at random by random.org. This contest is open to anyone in the world. Wherever you live, if you win then CJ will deliver this startup kit to your house.
The contest will close at midnight (New York time), December 15th and I’ll contact the winners through email. The other cool thing about this startup kit is that a lot of the products in it are from CJ’s new Bibigo brand, which you’ll soon be able to buy outside of Korean grocery stores in the USA. I asked CJ about this, and they said Bibigo is just a new brand name for their Haechandle brand, which I have been using for decades and you may have seen in my ingredients section.

I’ve watched korean dramas online and always wanted to try Korean food! I googled and found Maangchi! Since then, I’ve been cooking korean food every chance I get! The videos are 100% helpful! Actually today I made Japchae! Even if I don’t win! I feel like I did just because I get to cook all of Maangchi’s recipes! Yaaaaaay!

LOVE LOVE Korean Foods. We have a korean store about 45 minutes away and when I go there, I can spend hours just looking at everything. My favorite korean dishes are bulgolgi, korean BBQ, and kimchi. I enjoy all your videos. Thanks.

Aaaaah Thank you for having this contest Maangchi! I am half Korean and LOVE Korean food so much! I always wanted to cook it just like my 할머니 but she never taught me.
