Recently CJ Foods contacted me and offered to send me some Korean ingredients as a way of saying “thank you” for spreading Korean culture and cuisine. It was very kind of them to offer, but after talking to them some more, we decided it would be more fun to set up this giveaway for my readers. This is CJ’s way of encouraging you to cook Korean food, because they know that not everyone can find Korean ingredients easily.
So, leave a comment on this post, and you’ll be entered to win a Korean cooking startup kit from CJ.
Please leave only one comment below, and then there will be 20 winners chosen at random by random.org. This contest is open to anyone in the world. Wherever you live, if you win then CJ will deliver this startup kit to your house.
The contest will close at midnight (New York time), December 15th and I’ll contact the winners through email. The winners need to answer me in 5 days, and if anyone doesn’t answer in time I’ll have to pick the next winner. The other cool thing about this startup kit is that a lot of the products in it are from CJ’s new Bibigo brand, which you’ll soon be able to buy outside of Korean grocery stores in the USA. I asked CJ about this, and they said Bibigo is just a new brand name for their Haechandle brand, which I have been using for decades and you may have seen in my ingredients section.

I live in Namibia, and we have absolutely no Korean shops, resturants or even culture. There is however a very strong pissibility that I will be moving to Korea next year, to teach english. If I win the started pack, I can cook some super yummy food and finally get my first taste of true korean cuisine, which will also better prepare me for next year!! YEAH PICK ME =)

Hi! I’ve recently discovered your YT videos when I was craving for some korean food and thought, “why not try to make one on my own?” From then, I started with kimchi and now korean food is part of my everyday meal. Thanks for all your recipes and for bridging the gap between korean food and us international korean food lovers! Btw, hope I win the a start-up kit.^^

i am from malaysia i love cooking and eating korean foods and i wud luv to win this starter kit but i am also muslim so i must have “halal” (or kosher) ingredients. do u know if the ingredients have meat based products (ie beef stock or gelatin) in them. if they do i cannot use them so i cannot enter the competition. anyway your website is amazing n have given me lots of recipes to try at home.
