Recently CJ Foods contacted me and offered to send me some Korean ingredients as a way of saying “thank you” for spreading Korean culture and cuisine. It was very kind of them to offer, but after talking to them some more, we decided it would be more fun to set up this giveaway for my readers. This is CJ’s way of encouraging you to cook Korean food, because they know that not everyone can find Korean ingredients easily.
So, leave a comment on this post, and you’ll be entered to win a Korean cooking startup kit from CJ.
Please leave only one comment below, and then there will be 20 winners chosen at random by random.org. This contest is open to anyone in the world. Wherever you live, if you win then CJ will deliver this startup kit to your house.
The contest will close at midnight (New York time), December 15th and I’ll contact the winners through email. The winners need to answer me in 5 days, and if anyone doesn’t answer in time I’ll have to pick the next winner. The other cool thing about this startup kit is that a lot of the products in it are from CJ’s new Bibigo brand, which you’ll soon be able to buy outside of Korean grocery stores in the USA. I asked CJ about this, and they said Bibigo is just a new brand name for their Haechandle brand, which I have been using for decades and you may have seen in my ingredients section.

I’ve watched many of your videos on youtube. But It’s hard to find any of the ingrediants in my town. My 2 teenage nephews are of Korean decent and I’ve wanted to surprise them with a nice traditional Korean meal but lack the right materials. I hope i can get this starter kit; it sure would help me with this project. I have made much cabbage saurkraut but not kimchi yet.

ive been in korea for 3 years and i love eating korean foods, especially the jajangmyeon and tansuyeok and changeupsal, i miss korean foods so much!!

Oooo this is a wonderful treat for a lucky person! It would be great if I won cause I can’t find any of that in my area. The only Asian food store I’ve been able to find within 100 miles of me sells the same stuff that the walmart does. Sweet and sour sauce, soy sauce, rice, ramen packets, etc. Can’t wait to see the new videos :D
I just found this site and I really think it’s awesome. I want to start cooking Korean dishes just like my mom. I never paid attention to how she made the food, I just ate it. Boy do I miss it. :) So maybe now when I go home I can cook for her.
