Recently CJ Foods contacted me and offered to send me some Korean ingredients as a way of saying “thank you” for spreading Korean culture and cuisine. It was very kind of them to offer, but after talking to them some more, we decided it would be more fun to set up this giveaway for my readers. This is CJ’s way of encouraging you to cook Korean food, because they know that not everyone can find Korean ingredients easily.
So, leave a comment on this post, and you’ll be entered to win a Korean cooking startup kit from CJ.
Please leave only one comment below, and then there will be 20 winners chosen at random by random.org. This contest is open to anyone in the world. Wherever you live, if you win then CJ will deliver this startup kit to your house.
The contest will close at midnight (New York time), December 15th and I’ll contact the winners through email. The winners need to answer me in 5 days, and if anyone doesn’t answer in time I’ll have to pick the next winner. The other cool thing about this startup kit is that a lot of the products in it are from CJ’s new Bibigo brand, which you’ll soon be able to buy outside of Korean grocery stores in the USA. I asked CJ about this, and they said Bibigo is just a new brand name for their Haechandle brand, which I have been using for decades and you may have seen in my ingredients section.

Korean food ftw!
My friend had a dinner recently for her closets friends. She had cook all Korean dishes. She knows we share the same taste in food and our love for k drama’s. dishes she made was off of your page and you tube video’s. SO I joined your page can’t wait to cook some of them. I want to learn to cook all Korean dishes so that i can open a restaurant.
I always love watching your videos and when I get an apartment next year, I hope to cook korean food alllll the time! I’m super excited and thanks for this contest~

Hi Maangchi! I love watching your Korean cooking channel! I lived in Daegu, South Korea for 6 years and now I’m in Colorado for college! My family still lives back in Korea, and I miss my mom’s Korean food so much! Your videos and receipes are really unique and different and very handy for this family of three who consumes, by preference, more Asian type food than the regular American cuisine. Our garden provides many types of herbs and ingrediants not found in the area super markets, and several Asian food markets provide a wide range of Korean and other Asian products to make our food preparation much more authentic and moreover healthy.
Thanks to you and CJ company, perhaps many more people will have an opportuity to experience the world of Korean cooking; there is nothing like it :-)
