Recently CJ Foods contacted me and offered to send me some Korean ingredients as a way of saying “thank you” for spreading Korean culture and cuisine. It was very kind of them to offer, but after talking to them some more, we decided it would be more fun to set up this giveaway for my readers. This is CJ’s way of encouraging you to cook Korean food, because they know that not everyone can find Korean ingredients easily.
So, leave a comment on this post, and you’ll be entered to win a Korean cooking startup kit from CJ.
Please leave only one comment below, and then there will be 20 winners chosen at random by random.org. This contest is open to anyone in the world. Wherever you live, if you win then CJ will deliver this startup kit to your house.
The contest will close at midnight (New York time), December 15th and I’ll contact the winners through email. The winners need to answer me in 5 days, and if anyone doesn’t answer in time I’ll have to pick the next winner. The other cool thing about this startup kit is that a lot of the products in it are from CJ’s new Bibigo brand, which you’ll soon be able to buy outside of Korean grocery stores in the USA. I asked CJ about this, and they said Bibigo is just a new brand name for their Haechandle brand, which I have been using for decades and you may have seen in my ingredients section.

When i first started to try to make my very own first kimchi,i had got no clue at all.All i could do is randomly search the website to find the recipe.When i saw your website,i was so excited because the recipe you provided was so good and even with video instruction.Besides that you also provide us with other recipes of korean dishes as well.I am very thankful to you and glad that i’ve found this website as korean food is my favourite food.Now i don’t need to strain myself to go outside for korean food because with this website,i can choose to make and eat any korean dishes at home for i am the type that prefer homemade food.I really wanna thank you for your hardwork and effort by providing us these great recipe.Looking forward to your new recipe update here

I am lucky to found out this website as cooking korean cuisine is kinda impossible for me but i make it possible through your website. My first bath of kimchi is undergoing fermentation and definitely I will try out more n more korean dishes from your sharing. I’m Swiss and my husband is Korean and he left his family, friends and a good job in Korea and moved to Switzerland just because of me. I’ve been trying to cook some Korean food with your recipes for him ever since then, to make him miss his home a little bit less. After learning about your videos from my mom, I find myself logging onto YouTube everyday anticipating that there might be a new video of yours on my newsfeed. You have no idea how many of your recipes I have tried, and yes, they are to die for. Some of them include the eggplant side dish, kimchi pancake, and spicy rice cake. Love them all. :)

I love watching your show.. I have a new found love for Korean food ever since I started watching Korean Drama. The food always look so delicious and it bothered me that we don’t have any Korean restaurants where I live. At least with the ingredients presented in this contest I can see what I am missing..=0
