Recently CJ Foods contacted me and offered to send me some Korean ingredients as a way of saying “thank you” for spreading Korean culture and cuisine. It was very kind of them to offer, but after talking to them some more, we decided it would be more fun to set up this giveaway for my readers. This is CJ’s way of encouraging you to cook Korean food, because they know that not everyone can find Korean ingredients easily.
So, leave a comment on this post, and you’ll be entered to win a Korean cooking startup kit from CJ.
Please leave only one comment below, and then there will be 20 winners chosen at random by random.org. This contest is open to anyone in the world. Wherever you live, if you win then CJ will deliver this startup kit to your house.
The contest will close at midnight (New York time), December 15th and I’ll contact the winners through email. The other cool thing about this startup kit is that a lot of the products in it are from CJ’s new Bibigo brand, which you’ll soon be able to buy outside of Korean grocery stores in the USA. I asked CJ about this, and they said Bibigo is just a new brand name for their Haechandle brand, which I have been using for decades and you may have seen in my ingredients section.

I’m 23 and was adopted from South Korea when I was 6 months old. I absolutely love Korean food!!! I make your recipes whenever possible but unfortunately living in Montana makes some of the ingredients very hard to find and so I am limited in the things I can make…hopefully I can win a kit! Thank you for your youtube videos and your website, they’ve helped me explore a part of Korean culture that my adoptive parents haven’t been able to. :)

As a college student, the eating options at my school aren’t of the best quality; even trying to eat healthy can be a struggle because of the lack of variety among the food choices. I would much like to start cooking for myself. I really like Korean foods and would love to be able to cook Korean meals for myself. I really hope that I may have a chance to do so with this kit. =)
