Steaming kimchi-guk

Is it the hot liquid or the fire of spices? when I eat that soup I can’t say exactly where the warmth comes from… All I can say is that I literally feel the heat eradiating.
I made this one with my last portion of well fermented kimchi, extra sour, extra delicious !
