Recently CJ Foods contacted me and offered to send me some Korean ingredients as a way of saying “thank you” for spreading Korean culture and cuisine. It was very kind of them to offer, but after talking to them some more, we decided it would be more fun to set up this giveaway for my readers. This is CJ’s way of encouraging you to cook Korean food, because they know that not everyone can find Korean ingredients easily.
So, leave a comment on this post, and you’ll be entered to win a Korean cooking startup kit from CJ.
Please leave only one comment below, and then there will be 20 winners chosen at random by random.org. This contest is open to anyone in the world. Wherever you live, if you win then CJ will deliver this startup kit to your house.
The contest will close at midnight (New York time), December 15th and I’ll contact the winners through email. The winners need to answer me in 5 days, and if anyone doesn’t answer in time I’ll have to pick the next winner. The other cool thing about this startup kit is that a lot of the products in it are from CJ’s new Bibigo brand, which you’ll soon be able to buy outside of Korean grocery stores in the USA. I asked CJ about this, and they said Bibigo is just a new brand name for their Haechandle brand, which I have been using for decades and you may have seen in my ingredients section.

This is a wonderful kit that I hope to win! I’ve been watching many how to cook Korean food videos for a few years now and have yet to make any. I’m currently in the process of moving from Northwest Florida to Southern Ohio in February, so I haven’t a clue where any Asian markets are up there. This kit would be a wonderful way to give me a head start to Korean cooking in my new home!
Hello Maangchi! I was stationed in Japan and from time to time would be able to go to Korea. I love Korean food and would love to learn how to make it on my own and for my family. Keeping my fingers crossed. Love your station!

I would LOVE to get this cooking kit! I’m from Iceland and currently live there, since I have yet not finished high school, and we don’t have any korean grocery stores here! NOTHING! the only thing I can make that is korean is jjajjangmyun, but I use sauce instead of paste because it’s nowhere to be found here :/ I hope you’ll pick me :D
