Recently CJ Foods contacted me and offered to send me some Korean ingredients as a way of saying “thank you” for spreading Korean culture and cuisine. It was very kind of them to offer, but after talking to them some more, we decided it would be more fun to set up this giveaway for my readers. This is CJ’s way of encouraging you to cook Korean food, because they know that not everyone can find Korean ingredients easily.
So, leave a comment on this post, and you’ll be entered to win a Korean cooking startup kit from CJ.
Please leave only one comment below, and then there will be 20 winners chosen at random by random.org. This contest is open to anyone in the world. Wherever you live, if you win then CJ will deliver this startup kit to your house.
The contest will close at midnight (New York time), December 15th and I’ll contact the winners through email. The winners need to answer me in 5 days, and if anyone doesn’t answer in time I’ll have to pick the next winner. The other cool thing about this startup kit is that a lot of the products in it are from CJ’s new Bibigo brand, which you’ll soon be able to buy outside of Korean grocery stores in the USA. I asked CJ about this, and they said Bibigo is just a new brand name for their Haechandle brand, which I have been using for decades and you may have seen in my ingredients section.

Angyeonghaesayo! :D I would have typed that in character form (I’m not sure what the formal name for it is), but I’m still learning D: I would love to be able to win this contest ^^ I could finally show my family how Korean food tastes good *-* I’m the only one who eats kimchi and adds it to everything, even though I’m not Korean at all… haha.

I love watching your channel because of the wide variety of unique and tasty dishes that can be made. I know if I got a Korean starter kit it’d help me a lot cause I’d get to cook these foods I really enjoy eating even though I was brought up in a very average american way and I’m not Asian at all. Love the rainbow cake. It is so pretty! :) I will make that for a friend someday!

My love of Korean culture came from watching dramas. Not only has watching dramas helped me learn Korean, it also has made me wonder how all those yummy things they cook on TV taste in real life! Maangchi has been an inspiration to me for cooking and I’ve been following her on Youtube for almost a year now. Keep up the good work! Thank you for all of your amazing recipes! :D
This is random but I LOVE YOU <3 I am super obsessed xD and I just wanted to tell you the most random fact ever: Today I squealed and cried when I saw firefighters walking through my school *it wasn't anything serious I guess they were just checking things* but I started jumping up and down and the tears started falling. So I thank you both for this opportunity cause when I saw the video I started squealing again :3
