Recently CJ Foods contacted me and offered to send me some Korean ingredients as a way of saying “thank you” for spreading Korean culture and cuisine. It was very kind of them to offer, but after talking to them some more, we decided it would be more fun to set up this giveaway for my readers. This is CJ’s way of encouraging you to cook Korean food, because they know that not everyone can find Korean ingredients easily.
So, leave a comment on this post, and you’ll be entered to win a Korean cooking startup kit from CJ.
Please leave only one comment below, and then there will be 20 winners chosen at random by random.org. This contest is open to anyone in the world. Wherever you live, if you win then CJ will deliver this startup kit to your house.
The contest will close at midnight (New York time), December 15th and I’ll contact the winners through email. The winners need to answer me in 5 days, and if anyone doesn’t answer in time I’ll have to pick the next winner. The other cool thing about this startup kit is that a lot of the products in it are from CJ’s new Bibigo brand, which you’ll soon be able to buy outside of Korean grocery stores in the USA. I asked CJ about this, and they said Bibigo is just a new brand name for their Haechandle brand, which I have been using for decades and you may have seen in my ingredients section.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I appreciate your website. My mother’s side is Korean and it was always difficult to follow what my mom and aunties were doing in the kitchen since they always eyeballed all of the measurements, hahaha! Every time I view one of your videos I remember where and when I ate that dish back when I used to live there. Makes me miss Korea so much!!! Oh my god!! Your food looks so delicious!!! I’ve always wanted to try cooking Korean dishes! The only dish I made was Bindae Duk because my family does not like spicy foods (which I love so much). I cook a lot of Chinese (authentic not americanized) and Japanese foods. I can’t to try some of these recipes you have so I can add Korean cooking to my cooking repertoire!!

Do you really deliver to France? In the mid-sized town where I live (Nancy) I am quite limited as to the ingredients I can find, especially authentic ones. I love cooking, and what I cook has shifted to be mostly of the Korean variety, and a package like that would be amazing. Si quelqu’un veut l’envoyer chez moi, c’est nickel! Je veux bien moi,merci. It’d be nice to win. I live in Ohio and there are no Asian markets so it’s hard to come by the ingredients. I have to drive at least an hour to get to one. Not that I’m complaining too much, there are others who are worse off than me I’m sure.

Angyeonghaesayo! :D I would have typed that in character form (I’m not sure what the formal name for it is), but I’m still learning D: I would love to be able to win this contest ^^ I could finally show my family how Korean food tastes good *-* I’m the only one who eats kimchi and adds it to everything, even though I’m not Korean at all… haha.
