Sweet pancakes with brown sugar syrup filling (hoddeok)

This is the first time i’ve tried to make this recipe. i wanted to use the red bean filling but didn’t have any on hand so used brown sugar and walnuts per the recipe.
i also substituted 1/2 cup all purpose flour with whole wheat flour.

      yes it did! it’s not as puffy as all white flour (though i wonder if i might have used water too warm for the yeast) but it’s just as tasty! :)
