I thought it would turn out extremely sweet with the amount of sugar used, and it certainly did, but the sweetness was just perfect and definitely not too much. I ate half of it a few hours after I made it despite being cold, it still tasted so well, I think I’ll make extra servings next time so that I can take some with me for lunch breaks at the university. :) Thank you so much for this amazing Japchae recipe!

    Yes, japchae should taste a little sweet. Taking some for your lunch is such a good idea. Homemade dosirak (Korean lunchbox) is the best!
