Maangchi's cookbooks

Which to get? I suggest my second book, Maangchi's Big Book of Korean Cooking because it has the most recipes, but my first book has recipes for all the essential Korean pastes and sauces!

Did it end up “water logged?”
Often times when I use the crockpot everything comes out too soupy.
I live on the edge of Koreatown in Los Angeles and have come to love shopping at the big market at Western and Olympic. I’ve been making Galbi for a long time now. It’s the perfect summer grill dinner for a crowd. Everyone adores it.
I do admit to using jarred marinade when time is short.
There was a bit of soup I admit but I didn’t serve that. I only took out the meat since the sauce had all the fat in it.
“I cooked it in a crockpot (slow cooked) for almost a day. ..” Thank you for the tip! yummy!
