First off, I could not find any round dumpling wrappers so I opted to make it myself, using flour, kosher salt, egg and a little oil. My husband and I played it up with the wrappers and I made very thin ones like the traditional dumpling wrappers and my husband made thick ones so that when the dumpling cooks, it becomes chewy. For the filling, unfortunately I could not find any chives anywhere so I subbed that with a little green onion stalk. I also added hoisin sauce to the second batch of filling which added a different dimension. Thanks Maangchi for the recipe and inspiration!!!! =) This is just truly divine. =) Will post pictures again of the cooked version of the mandus. =)
The recipe is here.

wow, you made homemade mandu skin! I’m very impressed with it. All your dumplings look plump because of full of fillings inside. yum!
