Patbingsu (Korean shaved ice with fruit)

home made ttoek rice cakes rolled in roasted soybean powder, home made red bean paste, strawberries, kiwi, ice, sweet milk, a strawberry mochi ice cream on top and some caramel sauce. YUM! thanks Maangchi for teaching me this awesome recipe! The recipe is here.

Steamed pork buns: Jjinppang Mandu (baked)

Maangchi said mandu should be steamed, but I couldnt steam it that day so I tried to bake it and see what happens….. turns out it was pretty good, but i changed the dough recipe a little…. it was soft and sweet bread dough with spicy pork filling. yum! The recipe is here.

Stir-fried dried anchovies (myeolchi bokkeum)

Tiny tiny dried anchovies were stir-fried and seasoned with a little bit of hot pepper paste!  Keep it in the fridge for a while up to 2 weeks. Non spicy version can be eaten snack.  Delicious with rice! The recipe is here!
